Located in the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains, on scenic 321 in Cosby, TN, there is a special place that never fails to surprise people...

We are a unique shop that specializes in new, used & rare books, outstanding organic coffees, Smoky Mountain souvenirs, & much more. We still believe in customer service, & we enjoy knowing our customers from all over the country (some from around the world) who stop by whenever they are in the area. We are frequently referred to as "The most interesting shop in the Smokies". When you come to the Smokies, be sure to set aside plenty of time to get lost in our great selection!

Summer is here in full force!

Busy, busy, busy! So keep in mind that our hours are longer now...we're usually open from about 8-ish in the morning until 8, 9, & sometimes 10 o'clock at night! Come see us several times on your trip...you know there's too much to look at in one time! We are serving coffees like crazy, we've got all kinds of great snacks & so much more.
BOOKS have taken the place over! People are taking them out by the boxful, & we still don't see a dent in stock (maybe that's because as soon as there's an opening, Deann is running more books out to replace them!! He-he!

Sunny, then cloudy with rain, back to sunny....Through it all, the coffee is flowing!
Great to see all the wildflowers popping up everywhere, & seeing a bunch of our "regulars" from all over the country who come here once a year to see them (and us!).

Yes, we're still open, even though alot of our traffic has been detoured away from the area. Please note that 321 is open & easily accessible from several different exits west of the rockslide. If coming from the east, you can still come in front the Asheville area on 25/70, & then take 321 in Newport to us here in Cosby. And if you are near Gatlinburg, we are just 18 miles away; go north on 321. Call us if you are coming to see us & need directions.

Grab a box & load up on some deals! We have literally thousands of books that are already bargained priced, & in addition, they are buy one, get one free, & there is no limit. We are clearing out stock & getting ready for winter! The books outside have all genres, & they are grouped into general sections (fiction is pretty much all together, cookbooks, health, etc), but it's a bit of a mess out there, as alot of rummaging goes on out there! There are lots of goodies, alot of older vintage books, lots of interesting stuff, we need to make some room, so come early & find some treasures!
